TERMS
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. The balance is due prior to shipping. We accept
Visa, MasterCard, personal checks, and company
checks. Unless arranged otherwise, your order will be shipped to you via common carrier.
We have discounted shipping rates with several nationwide carriers and in order to extend these low rates to you, we include shipping charges in your final invoice. Once your order is shipped, you will be provided the carrier's terminal phone number and the shipment tracking number. You will then need to call the carrier and to arrange delivery.
Upon carrier delivery of your order, it is your responsibility to unload your flooring and move it to a safe dry place. The freight carriers responsibility ends upon arrival at the delivery destination. Two or three individuals can usually unload an average size order (1100s.f.) within a half an hour. One person is required on the truck to break open the palletized order and hand down the smaller individual bundles (40-65 lbs.) to helpers on the ground who then move the bundles inside. Of course, if a forklift is available at the jobsite unloading is much simpler. Carriers usually allow 30-45 minutes for unloading. Your order has arrived at the delivery destination freight pre-paid and no additional fees are due. Should a carrier driver ask for C.O.D. payment, please call the terminal for clarification.
Ridgeview Hardwoods also offers local delivery on company owned trucks in the Baltimore-Washington area. With this service, we will stock the jobsite with your flooring order. Please contact us for quotes on local deliveries.

CLAIMS WILL NOT BE HONORED ON MORE THAN 80 SF OF INSTALLED PRODUCT.

Wood Dust Advisory:
For all untreated wood and untreated wood products.

Sawing, sanding or machining wood products can produce wood dust, which can cause a flammable or explosive
hazard.

Wood dust may cause lung, upper respiratory tract, skin and/or eye irritation.

Some wood species may cause dermatitis and/or allergic respiratory effects.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified wood dust as a nasal carcinogen in
humans.

Avoid dust contact with ignition source.

Sweep or vacuum dust for recovery or disposal.

Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of wood dust in the air.

Avoid dust contact with eyes and skin.

First Aid: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. In case of contact, flush eyes and skin with water.
If irritation persists, call a physician.
Return Policy
When merchandise is returned, it will be accepted under the following conditions:
Merchandise returned must be in good condition. Credit cannot be allowed for broken packages, dirty, warped,
weathered, picked over or used materials. It is the responsibility of the customer to protect the material for
the return shipment. A 15% handling charge will be deducted on all merchandise returned. Customers must supply a
copy of their invoice when returning merchandise in order to secure proper credit. Special and /or custom
ordered merchandise is not returnable. Permission to return material must be requested thru our office in
advance. Return freight is the responsibility of the customer. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days.
Complaints on tally or other quality issues must be made to our office immediately, before the material is used!
Our Guarantee
All of our flooring is guaranteed against manufacturing defects above the industry standard defect tolerance
allowance of 5% within a grade. Any defect that would render a plank(s) unfit for safe functional use will be
considered. These defects may include unsound material, defective milling, defective finish, and improper
moisture content. Claims for replacement planks may be made after customer inspection, but prior to
installation. Any planks giving rise to claim under this warranty will be replaced free of charge, after company
inspection and approval. This warranty only covers the cost of replacement planks and does not cover the cost of
labor and other associated costs. Care should be given to reading and understanding our grade specifications
prior to ordering.
